First, the Asmat fierce guardians of a vanishing world. Once headhunters and now revered artisans, the Asmat people’s ancestral ceremonies, drum rituals, and monumental wood carvings remain among the planet’s most awe-inspiring cultural treasures. Over three unforgettable days, you’ll travel by canoe into their secluded river villages, welcomed with a rare boat ceremony of more than 200 men—an electrifying expression of a culture largely untouched by time.
Then, the voyage turns north, toward Raja Ampat’s scattered emerald isles, where limestone towers rise from turquoise seas and coral gardens bloom beneath the surface.
